Welcome to Yongsheng Sports Club!
We offer training for health improvement and martial arts for everyone, regardless of age, level of preparation, or goals. We welcome both beginners and advanced athletes, youth and adults, those who want to maintain their health, and those who dream of competitions.
Children can train independently from the age of 7. For younger children, we offer a format where a parent trains alongside the child and supervises them. We always welcome family training together!
Our classes are led by Master Yongsheng Sheng, a Chinese professional with extensive experience. Read more about the master on the Master Yongsheng Sheng page.
✅ How to get started?
Wushu Kungfu and Qigong — here, beginners and advanced students train together, so you can join at any time. These classes also provide a great foundation for those interested in starting taiji in the future but waiting for the next beginners' course start.
Taiji 24 Forms — this is a special course that requires gradual learning of movements. To keep everyone at a similar pace, we open new beginners' group once a year — in October.
Usually, it takes 3–4 months of intensive training to learn the movements, but true mastery takes longer. We recommend practicing in the “zero-level class” for at least a year. Since this course is based on group work, we ask participants to pay several months in advance. This helps the group progress evenly and ensures training stability. Many students find value in repeating the course to deepen their understanding and refine their skills.
You can come to class in comfortable sportswear or, if desired, in traditional taiji attire.
✅ Clothing and footwear
For all classes (taiji, wushu, qigong), comfortable sportswear that allows free movement is suitable. Traditionally, long loose trousers are worn. Training shoes should have flat soles. For taiji, you may optionally wear a traditional uniform.
Choosing the right footwear is very important for training. Here’s an example of good and bad footwear:

✅ What to bring
Bring a water bottle and, if needed, a towel.
✅ How to find the room and key card
Our trainings are located at Sõjakooli 10, Tallinn. If you plan to use the changing room, showers, and sauna, you will need a key card, which is provided with a €10 deposit. The card must be returned by the end of May (as trainings are held outdoors during summer). The name of the room for each class can be checked in the training schedule. For the first time training, no key card is needed; you can go directly to the room following these instructions:
Step 1: Go upstairs from the foyer

Step 2: Enter the door on the 2nd floor

Step 3: On the left, you will see the door to the Lootos hall; the photo shows wushu warm-up in the corridor. To find the Lavendel hall, do not turn left, but go straight along the courts, and near the end on the right, you will see a sign with the hall name.
